Jabra, GN or Plantronics
In today's busy office enviroment, the question of which headset is all important for many call centre and office based personell. Manufacturers such as Plantronics (www.plantronics.com) and Jabra (www.jabra.com) are competeing for YOUR business. Products such as the wireless CS60 or CS70N go head to head to the GN9120 or the GN9330, of course don't forget the HL10 Lifter, both manufacturers have an excellent pedigree, we wonder how you found them in practice?

Having used both (GN Netcom 9120 with Nortel USB adaptor) and Plantronics CS60-USB, my preference is definately the GN Netcom. I have had to switch as I changed company and now use a Cisco VoIP phone instead of the Nortel MCS VoIP phone.
The GNNetcom has longer range, iw more comfortable and the sound is clearer. The head band fits better too. Downside, no integration with the VoIP client.
The Plantronics is comparable, but has a strange position on your head when wearing it. I have used all of the various headbands. A positive is the integration with the softphone, i.e. press a button to answer etc. The bundled software is pretty good, but also quite limited.
The integration wins it for me on the plantronics, I just wish I had the GN NEtcom USB equivilent.
I also use the Plantronics bluetooth 510 headset when on the road, this is also excellent for the integration, so long as you dont need long range.
